Even if the only thing you learned or remember from crochet is how to make a simple chain of stitches then you can make a headband to match any outfit. This is also a fun way to add a bit of holiday color when you don’t feel like wearing green and red or orange and black from head-to-toe. One headband requires just scraps of yarn. You can make each headband unique by mixing different texture yarns as well as different colors.
Craft Materials
You will need scraps of yarn. You can make a headband from a single type of yarn or you can mix three-to-six different types of yarn. Use any combination of yarns so that you work with six different strands or two strands each of three different yarns, or any mixture you desire.
You can use different sized crochet hooks, anything from a J through a P-size hook. Again, subtle changes will allow you to create a variety of different looks.
